The year has been moving by very quickly and 2018 seems to be in a hurry to leave. The summer seems to be moving at a quick pace but this certainly doesn't stop the Comic cons from coming or cosplayers from thinking of new ideas. For awhile I was debating on whether to change my style of Spider-man or just dress up as a completely different character. My adventures dressed up as Spider-man have shown me 2 things. First thing is that cosplaying as Spider-man is one of the easiest things to do compared to other designs and costumes I have seen. The second is that everyone loves Spider-man. No matter what event or place people really enjoy taking pictures or even talking with this arachnid. So I thought why not just change the suit design and keep the excitement going. My latest costume "Ironspiderman" has been a hit with people, fits very well, and everyone loved his latest adventure in Avengers: Infinity War. This definitely was worth the investment.

The two comic cons that I have attended was the Corpus Christi Con and the Greater Austin. These two cons were very fun and unique in their own ways. The Greater Austin comic con had a lot of great comic book artists and I was able to meet the original Flash, who also manages to be Jay Garrick in the current series. This actor was very talkative and down to earth. He really enjoyed talking to fans and a lot to say about the DC universe. The set up was fun and everything was very close by within the con. The Corpus Christi con was very fun and I decided to be dressed down at this con. This con had great vendors but I really wanted to meet an actor from one of my favorite shows Smallville, Micheal Rosenbaum. His portrayal of Lex Luthor really stands out and continues to be a standard when other actors take on the role of Superman's enemy.

Another big highlight of the con was getting to meet Lou Ferrigino, the original Incredible Hulk. This man was huge and it was awesome seeing the inner fan come out from my father. I became a fan of comics and heroes because of my dad which was awesome to share this adventure to Corpus with my family. Comic cons really is a place to be enjoyed by all fans from all walks of life. Whether you cosplay or not Comic Con is for everyone.
